Just spent 8 days at the Crown Park on our first visit to Seoul. The best things about the hotel are (a) the people. We were treated with such kindness and warmth. The hotel left a welcome gift in our room as we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. The breakfast was varied and very substantial. The dining room staff were amazing especially Ms Mi-Jin Kim who greeted us each morning. Her husband is the chef and they make quite a team and are wonderful ambassadors for the hotel. They will be among our top memories of Seoul due to their kindness and efforts to make sure we had everything we needed. (B) the location is fantastic. We walked to many of the sites or took a short bus ride. The hotel is easily reached by taking the Limo Bus 6701 (18,000 won pp) outside the airport arrival doors and drops you feet from the hotel’s front door. We found this more convenient than the train. Our room was spotless but small (we went for the basic room). The bed is pushed close the the wall so not easy to get in and out on the one side. So you might consider a twin room or pay a little extra for the upgrade. It has convenience stores next door and the Lotte Dept store across the street. It is also steps to the renowned Myeongdong night market an amazing evening market with lots of street food and great stores. We cannot recommend Crown Park highly enough. It is very reasonably priced and great value for money. We were anxious about our first trip to Seoul but it has been a trip of a lifetime and we hope you will find our review helpful. Ps great laundry facilities onsite. PPS try Kkanbu Chicken round the corner. Delicious. Servings are huge. First time there we ordered two meals. Second visit one meal and it was plenty.

It’s affordable, in an amazing position and the surrounding buildings block out the super bright night light from all the advertising displays. It’s also extremely quiet and has block out blinds. I booked the three of us two adjoining rooms. One is a queen & ensuite & desk with no windows that joins with a twin singles, ensuite and large windows. Lots of space and privacy for the 3 of us. Plus two bathrooms - luxury! The bell desk is on the ground floor. Then you take the elevator to the top floor to check in. So the immediate entry is a little lack lustre, but don’t be deterred! A subway entry (line #1 City Hall subway exit 6) is at the hotel door - literally. We caught the train from the airport to the hotel with one easy change at Seoul Station. All for AU$6. Alternatively Line #2 and multiple bus lines is a 5 minute walk. There is a Starbucks on the ground floor, 2 more coffee places, a 7/11 and another convenience store all on the adjoining street level. And the amazing Lotte Department store across the road. You must head to the basement level 1 to the food court (opens at 10:30am). 1 block down is the myeongdong night markets - street food vendors and great restaurants. It’s busy but all flows so well.

Location is perfect to shops, Myeong-dong food street (which is a must), directly next to Lotte shops and food Arcade., near subway, General Manager Kevin is professional, well-mannered, extremely kind, helpful+, perfect English and a true Gentleman, Andrew the manager will do his best to ensure a great stay, all staff friendly and helpful that is 1/2 the battle when in a country where English is rarely spoken. The main lobby is on the 17th floor, where you can also have a seat and relax in comfort. Right next door, u have 7eleven and the other side star bucks. A 2-minute walk to favourite risotto in the lotte food Arcade. 80% better than SkyePark, not as good as the Royal Hotel, but 100% I would stay again. I am from Collingwood, Melbourne, Australia, and a little fussy. I hope this will help when deciding to stay at the Crown Park Hotel Myeongdong. Oh, I forgot to mention that tv's have Netflix options always a bonus when relaxing in your room🌹❤️

Location is superb. 7-Eleven and G25 less than 1 minute away from entrance. 2 coffee places - Mammoth and Starbucks less than 1 min away. 1 street away from Myeongdong Main Street. Can’t find a better location than this! Duvet was extremely warm and comfortable. Housekeeping was superb and the brown rice green tea given was delicious. Also appreciated the commercial washer and dryer. 3000 won to wash and 3000 yen to dry. Totally worth it. Gym was small but serviceable. Toilet amenities given are good. I really like the body lotion! Water pressure from the shower was brilliant after a long day outside. Staff was really helpful in helping us to get a cab at 5AM in the morning. Kudos to the male staff working on 11 Feb, 5am. Thank you so much!

The hotel is located very conveniently next to a Lotte department store and very close to the Myeongdong night market. The entrance to the underground market almost directly brings you to the food court of the Lotte department store. Directly next to the hotel there is a Starbucks and a GS25 convenience store. The hotel has a coin laundry on 3F. Detergent and softener are included in the fee for the machine (W 3000) The hotel and its rooms are stylishly decorated and give a sense of luxury.
